Inclusions
- Hotel pick up and drop off (Seoul only)
- Groups of 1-2: Professional guide & vehicle for 9.5 hours per day. Your guide will double as both your guide & driver. The vehicle will be a 5 passenger vehicle. We may provide a minivan (Hyundai Starex or Kia Carnival) instead based on availability.
- Groups of 3-8: Professional guide & vehicle for 9.5 hours per day. Your guide will double as both your guide & driver. The vehicle will be a minivan. (Hyundai Starex or Kia Carnival) This vehicle type can fit up to 8 passengers, but 8 is not recommended unless you have small children. If you have large passengers, no more than 7 would be recommended.
- Groups of 9-11: Professional guide, vehicle, and separate driver for 9.5 hours per day. The vehicle will be a 13 passenger van.(Hyundai Solati) In the event that a 13 passenger van is available, we may assign a minibus at no extra cost to you.
- Groups of 11–16 Professional guide, vehicle, and separate driver for 9.5 hours per day. The vehicle will be a 17 passenger minibus. In the event that a 17 passenger minibus is not available, we may assign a coach bus at no extra cost to you.
- Groups of 17-44 Professional guide, vehicle, and separate driver for 9.5 hours per day. The vehicle will be a 45 passenger coach bus.
- All travel expenses within Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. (gas, parking, etc.)
- Extra charges for traveling outside of Seoul, Busan, and Jeju (if applicable) as itemized in your quote.
Exclusions
The standard base rate excludes the following, but can be added as optional add-ons.
- Airfare (unless added in quote by request)
- Lodging (unless added in quote by request)
- Meals (unless added in quote by request)
- Entrance Fees (unless added in quote by request)
- Guide's Entrance Fees - Guides get free entry to most attractions. They do not get free entry to some attractions such as amusement parks, cable cars, observatories, etc. You are responsible for their entry at such attractions.
- Gratuities (optional)(unless added in quote by request)
- Traveler's Insurance
Misc.
- Your scheduling manager can book attraction tickets for you if you request it. There will be a 10% markup for processing and handling. Some tickets may be non-refundable at the time of payment.
General Terms & Conditions
- Touring hours are 9:30am to 7:00pm (9:00am to 6:30pm in Jeju) by default unless otherwise noted in your itinerary. You may adjust your start and end times as long as the end time is 9.5 hours after start time.
- An attraction listed in your itinerary isn't a guarantee that we will be able to visit it. Delays due to traffic and client tardiness are out of our control and is counted as part of your 9.5 hour touring day. All we can guarantee is to get to as much as we can within 9.5 hours. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for delays due to traffic or client tardiness. You are also waiving the right to any sort of payment dispute or to write negative reviews on all and any internet platforms, apps, and sites.
- Your itinerary and quote are two separate things. An item listed in your itinerary doesn’t mean the cost of said item is included in your quote and booked by us. For example, your itinerary may indicate you are “flying to Jeju.” Unless we have agreed to book this flight on your behalf AND it is itemized in your quote, it is not included in your quote and we will not be booking said flight. This applies for any domestic travel tickets, show tickets, attraction tickets, etc. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for any missed bookings under these terms.
- The itinerary is subject to change due to weather. There are no rain checks. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for bad weather.
- Some attractions may suddenly close at the last minute due to weather or other circumstances. This is out of our control.
- Certain entrance fees for your guide are not covered. Most attractions will let guides in for free. However, attractions such as amusement parks, cable cars, observatories, etc. will not let the guides in for free. In such cases, you will be responsible for your guide's entrance fee. You can also opt to have your guide wait outside instead. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way.
- In the event of traveling with luggage, our minivans can fit a maximum of 7 passengers and 6 pieces of average sized luggage. In the event that you have 8 passengers or have more than an average amount of luggage, you will have to upgrade to a 12 passenger van. You must disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand. If there are more passengers or luggage than you disclosed, you will be 100% responsible for any vehicle upgrade costs. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for you failing to disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand.
- Groups of 8-9 may find our minivans a bit tight and uncomfortable, especially if you have taller and/or larger members in your group. We recommend upgrading to a 12 passenger van in this case. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing that this option was given to you. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for dissatisfaction with your tour vehicle size.
- In the event of traveling with luggage, our 12 passenger vans can fit a maximum of 11 passengers + our guide and 12 pieces of average sized luggage. In the event that you have 12 passengers or have more than an average amount of luggage, you will have to upgrade to a minibus or coach bus. You must disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand. If there are more passengers or luggage than you disclosed, you will be 100% responsible for any vehicle upgrade costs. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for you failing to disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand.
- In the event of traveling with luggage, our minibus can fit a maximum of 16 passengers + our guide and 10 pieces of average sized luggage. In the event that you have 17 passengers or have more than an average amount of luggage, you will have to upgrade to a coach bus. You must disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand. If there are more passengers or luggage than you disclosed, you will be 100% responsible for any vehicle upgrade costs. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for you failing to disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand.
- In the event of traveling with luggage, our coach bus can fit a maximum of 43 passengers + our guide and 30 pieces of average sized luggage. In the event that you have 44 passengers or have more than an average amount of luggage, you will have to upgrade to a coach bus. You must disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand. If there are more passengers or luggage than you disclosed, you will be 100% responsible for any vehicle upgrade costs. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for you failing to disclose the exact number of passengers and luggage beforehand.
- Unless stated otherwise, we will be using different guides in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. We will generally use the same guide for the duration of your tour in each particular city. If booking non-consecutive days or if our scheduling doesn’t allow for using the same guide, we may assign different guides within the same city. By entering into this agreement, you are explicitly acknowledging and agreeing to these terms. You are agreeing to not hold Korea Tour Company liable in any way for using different guides within a particular city. You are also waiving the right to any sort of payment dispute or to write negative reviews on all and any internet platforms, apps, and sites.
- Obtaining a visa (if needed) is solely your responsibility. If your failure to obtain a visa leads to a cancellation, your cancellation will be subject to the same cancellations terms as any other cancellation without exception.
Flights & Accommodations Terms & Conditions
- Flights & accommodations are optional add-ons. In the event that we book either flights or accommodations on your behalf, we will require full payment separate from your tour deposit upfront. These payments are subject to the cancellation terms and conditions of the accommodations and airlines themselves. These terms and conditions will be presented to you before booking.
Payment Method
- We require an initial 30% deposit upfront to secure tour and transfer services. We will send you a payment link where you can either pay with a Visa or MC. Some countries may have local payment options in addition to Visa and MC.
- The 70% balance is due 8 days before your tour start date. If you booked an airport pick up with us, that will serve as your tour start date. We will send you a payment link for the balance 14 days before your tour start date as mentioned above. The payment will be due no later that 8 days before your tour start date.
Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions
- Your initial 30% deposit is fully refundable if your booking is canceled within 15 days or more of your tour start date. If you booked an airport pick up with us, your tour start date is the date of your airport pick up date.
- Your initial 30% deposit is non-refundable if your tour is canceled within less than 15 days of your tour start date. If you booked an airport pick up with us, your tour start date is the date of your airport pick up date. If you cancel within 14 to 8 days of your tour start date, your deposit becomes non-refundable. However, you may apply your deposit towards a tour at a later date with the following conditions: a) The deposit is transferable to another party. b) You must use your non-refundable deposit within 365 days of your cancellation date. c) You must book the same amount of days and transfers you paid the deposit for. For example, if you booked a 5 day tour, you will not be able to use your deposit towards anything other than a tour that is 5 or more days long.
- Your balance of 70% will be due no later than 8 days before your tour start date. We will send you a payment link for the balance payment 14 days before your tour start date. If you booked an airport pick up with us, your tour start date is the date of your airport pick up date. You will have until 8 days before your tour start date to make payment. A late payment can be viewed as a cancellation and your initial 30% deposit will be subject to Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions #1-2. Half of the 70% balance payment becomes non-refundable 8 days before your tour start date. The other half of the 70% balance becomes non-refundable 1 day before your tour start date.
- To put it simply: 30% penalty if cancelled between 14 and 8 days before, 65% penalty if cancelled between 8 and 2 days before, and 100% penalty if cancelled 1 day before your service start date.
- We may not be able to accommodate last minute tour date changes. If this results in cancellation of your tour, your cancellation is subject to Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions #1-4.
- The only exception to Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions #1-5 is if either your home country or South Korea implements travel restrictions due to a pandemic which prevents you from entering South Korea. This only applies if entry is completely restricted. It will not apply if you are still able to enter South Korea, but choose not to do so.
- For groups that have booked a 12 passenger van, minibus, bus, or coach bus, downgrading to a van will be treated as a cancellation and is subject to Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions #1-4.
- For groups that requests an upgrade to a larger vehicle, we may not be able to accommodate due to availability. If this results in cancellation of your tour, your cancellation is subject to Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions #1-4.
- There is a 4% surcharge that will be deducted for any and all refunds processed via credit/debit cards.
